Dolly Parton, who was born in Locust Ridge Tenn. on the 19th of January. 19. 1946, into a low-income family, with twelve kids later on, realized early that she was able to escape suffering through her creative mind. The songs she wrote were composed before she could read or write. She got her first guitar when she was 8 and started performing on an Knoxville Tenn radio station at age 11. She recorded her first album in the same calendar year with Gold Band Records, a small independent label. Even though she became popular in the local scene while she was at High School, she knew her dreams were bigger. She relocated to Nashville the day after graduating in 1964. Dumb Blonde was her first album to be charted on Monument Records. Porter Wagoner's syndicated tv show required an additional singer around this point. Parton took the job in 1966. She then she joined RCA Records in 1968, and then the Grand Ole Opry was founded in 1969. She quit Wagoner's act in 1974 after her own singles such as Joshua Coat of Many Colors & Jolene outsold the collaborations. Parton, after the split of their partnership with Wagoner was the one to write"I'll Always Be Loved" by You and had it reach No. The song of Parton in 1974. I Will Always Love You climbed to the No.
