Ariel Eva Tuadraq Atauchaq Tweto changed her name after her birth. Alya Tweto is her elder sister. Her parents met when her dad was at work in Alaska as a professional hockey player trying to attract interest for the sport. Her father fell in love and got married to her mother. Later, they founded Era Alaska, aka the Era Alaska aviation company. Ariel as well as Alya were born in Nome, Alaska. Ariel attended Emerson College before graduating from Chapman University. Ariel started her acting career at a very young age and was a regular on the television show Wipeout. The show became famous due to an incident when she asked her mother about the pole that was in the room that she did not notice. After the director's noticed the curiosity of the viewers in her, they contacted the Tweto Family to make an documentary on their family's life in the Alaskan wilderness. Jim his father is skeptical of the idea but he lets the camera film at the office. Era Alaska is still run by him as the Bush pilot. Ariel eventually earned her pilot's license in the month of April 2012. After her father's retirement Ariel assumes the management of the family aviation business. Alaskans worry about Alaska's high teenager suicide rate that is more than seven times higher than the nation. Ariel was able to address the issue by founding Popping Bubbles. She visits the youth and schools to talk to young people about how they can live their lives and pursue their goals, not be a victim of depression.
