Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had many talents, including being able to act, direct, produce, write plays as well as teach and serve as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British, as is her mother, an Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her perform in play rehearsals. At the beginning of her career, Anna appeared on several commercials on television. Anna was able to move to Toronto so that her acting skills could develop. In the following years, she moved to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. They were engaged. They married with a civil ceremony on December and renew their vows during the form of a Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton in April of 2011 in the wake of Anna's conversion into Judaism. Bo's same-sex relationship and Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was highlighted in the list of CNN's all-time most viewed TV Couples as well as named the most popular TV Couple in 2013, by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's following on social media grew following the popularity of her TV show.
